Toujours support de papiers journaux déchirés recollés sur toile, comme autant de bouts de vie qui font notre moi profond. Choix de mots écrits à outrance : failles, déchirures, tabous, questions, maux… jetés ça et là au gré du dessin, épars ou collés, juxtaposés, à l’endroit, à l’envers, superposés jusqu’à l’excès, les mots sculptent le dessin, les reliefs se forment, ombres & lumières apparaissent, le tableau prend corps. Encres rouge et noire qui se mêlent … sang… vin… dans quel sens va la fuite… ? Travail au crayon pour ombrer le patchwork de papiers collés.

As usual newspapers torn-patched up on canvas, like so many pieces of life that built us. Words (in French in the painting) such as weaknesses, tears, taboos, questions, pain… are thrown on this patchwork of material, written again and again until saturation, scattered, pasted here and there according to the drawing, wrong side up, ride side up, superimposed with abandon, or isolated… lost… legible… building up relief, shadow and light appear naturally, painting crystallizes. Red and black inks that blend… blood… wine… in what direction will the leak? Final touch with pencils on this patchwork of materials.
